believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Have you ever prayed and wondered if God was listening? Or maybe you’ve prayed for something and felt discouraged because the answer didn’t come right away. If that sounds familiar, let me share something powerful with you—a way to pray with confidence, knowing that you will receive what you ask for.

Now, this doesn’t mean praying for anything just to satisfy our own desires. The Bible reminds us in James 4:3, “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives.” Our prayers should align with God’s will, His promises, and His purpose for our lives. When we pray in faith, two essential words can change everything: “I believe, I receive.” These simple yet powerful words can transform your prayer life. Whether you’re praying for healing, the salvation of a loved one, peace in your home, or a financial breakthrough, declaring “I believe, I receive” shifts your faith into action. Jesus Himself said in Mark 11:24, “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

When I started confessing these words in my prayers, I saw things change, especially in my health. I wasn’t just asking God to heal me; I was declaring that I had already received it. Soon, I began to experience the healing power of God in my life. This principle applies not just to healing but to every area where you need God’s intervention.

A simple but effective prayer could go like this:

“Lord, I thank You for healing my body and making me whole. Your Word says that by Your stripes, I am healed. I believe, I receive my healing today in Jesus’ name.”

Then, walk forward in faith. Even if you don’t see an immediate change, don’t let doubt creep in. If the enemy tries to convince you that nothing has changed, stand firm and keep declaring the truth: “I believe, I receive.” The more you confess it with conviction, the more your faith grows. So continue to speak it until you see it. God honors faith, and when you truly believe, you will see His promises unfold in your life. Don’t let negativity, fear, or the opinions of others shake your confidence. Trust in God, hold onto His Word, and receive what He has already provided for you. So today, whatever you are praying for, declare it boldly: “I believe, I receive!” Watch God move in your life like never before.
