My Declaration of Faith:

Today, I choose to be a pursuer of peace and a keeper of unity. I know division is everywhere, but I don’t have to let it live in me. Through Christ, I refuse to allow bitterness, strife, or offense to have the last word in my relationships.

The Word reminds me: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:2–3) This means I won’t always agree with everyone, but disagreement doesn’t have to destroy love. It doesn’t have to break fellowship. By God’s grace, I can honor differences while still holding fast to peace.

I also remember that “the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 14:17) Real peace flows from God’s Spirit within me. When I’m at peace with Him, I can carry His peace to others.

Peace doesn’t demand its own way. It doesn’t carry grudges or insist on the last word. Peace believes the best, and it has the power to silence arguments and heal wounds. With God’s help, I will let His peace rule in my heart and overflow into every room I enter today: my home, my workplace, my friendships, and even into situations where division tries to creep in.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for the gift of Your peace that guards my heart and mind. Help me walk humbly, gently, and lovingly with others. Holy Spirit, teach me to be a peacemaker who is quick to forgive, slow to anger, and eager to preserve unity. Let Your peace flow through me today, and may others see the love of Christ in the way I live. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
