My Declaration of Faith:
Some days, fear tries to sneak in quietly, through a thought, a headline, a social media post, or a sudden unknown. It shows up as worry, anxiety, and even doubt. If I’m not careful, I find myself spiraling into “what-ifs” and worst-case scenarios. But I’ve come to realize something powerful: fear is just faith… pointed in the wrong direction.
My Declaration of Faith:
Some days, the enemy’s voice feels loud, like a lion roaring and trying to drown out my peace. The threats come: “If you step out, everyone will see your past.” The lies creep in: “This road is too hard—you should quit while you can.” The accusations echo: “You’ve failed too many times. God’s probably tired of dealing with you.”
“He spreads out the northern skies over empty space;
he suspends the earth over nothing.”
Job 26:7
You may feel like you are out of control and that your life is in chaos. You may feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster and contemplating ways to try to get off this endless cycle of defeat and insecurity. On top of this, you are bombarded with negative news of school shootings, increased violence on the streets, the market crash, economic collapse, and wars in foreign countries.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour. Resist him,
steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”
I Peter 5:8-9
If you knew that a robber was about to break into your house and steal your property and try to harm your family, what would you do? You most likely prepared yourself with the appropriate security system to prevent him from breaking in.

Two blind men were sitting by the roadside outside the city of Jericho. They were waiting for the people to give them compassion for their daily donations. What they didn’t know was that their lives were about to be changed dramatically that day.

the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

Do you know that God has deposited in you the very treasures of heaven? Do you know that there is a spirit of excellence placed inside of you? You may comment to yourself, “I don’t feel like I have anything today. My life is a shambles, and I have nothing to feel good about.”

You may have considered yourself normal all your life. This is because you would think that you are a normal person who goes to a normal school. You may be a worker who goes to your normal job. You may be a mother who raises normal kids. You may be a father who thinks he is living a normal life.
My Declaration of Faith:
Today, I anchor my heart in this truth: I have God’s Word for it, and that’s more than enough. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He didn’t argue or reason with the enemy. He declared, “It is written.”

When life feels shaky and uncertain, when my emotions are loud, and my thoughts are scattered, I know where to go. I run to the Word of God. It’s not just a book I read; it’s the place I find peace, direction, and strength.
My Declaration of Faith:
I’m not walking through life alone; I have a God who actually wants me to run to Him. He doesn’t roll His eyes when I cry out. He doesn’t push me away or grow tired of my fears or tears. No, He welcomes me.
