My Declaration of Faith:

Today, I speak this truth over my life:

I am not condemned. I am not my past. I am not my mistakes. I am free, fully, completely, and undeservedly free.

There was a time when I believed that in order to be close to God, I had to get everything right. But Jesus showed me something different. When the woman caught in adultery was dragged into the open, expecting judgment, Jesus didn’t shame her, He saved her. “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (John 8:10–11)

That same grace is for me. He sees my brokenness, but He doesn’t condemn me. He sets me free, not just from the penalty of sin, but from the power of it. The law shows me where I fall short, but it can’t make me whole. Grace does that. Grace picks me up. Grace transforms me. Grace gives me the strength to say no to sin, not out of fear, but out of love.

I hold onto what the Scripture says:

“Sin shall no longer have dominion over me, for I am not under law but under grace.” (Romans 6:14)

Because I am under grace, I don’t have to be stuck in cycles of guilt or addiction. I can walk forward, with hope and confidence, knowing that my freedom is rooted in what Jesus has already done for me.

So today, I declare that I am no longer a prisoner to shame. I am free to live differently. Free to love deeply. Free to rise again. And free to sin no more, not because of my own strength, but because His grace lives in me.

Prayer for Today:

Jesus, thank You for seeing me through eyes of mercy and not condemnation. Thank You for bearing the weight of my sin on the cross, so I could live in freedom. When I feel weak, remind me that Your grace is my strength. When I fall, remind me to run to You, not from You. I receive the gift of no condemnation, and I choose to walk today in the power of Your love. Help me live in victory, not by trying harder, but by trusting deeper. In Your name, Amen.
