“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ: that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Galatians 3:14

It is God’s will to bless you. He desires to see you blessed. But not too many believers believe the truth of the blessing. They think that the blessing of God is limited to only physical materials such as a good-sized bank account, cars, and homes. However, the blessing of God is much deeper than that. The blessing of God is the power to prosper, no matter what condition or situation you might be facing. It is His grace and presence that are actively working in your life to bring you to the prosperous and abundant life Jesus has promised.

The Word of God said that Jesus became a curse for us so He could redeem us from the curse of the law. (Galatians 3:13) The word “redeem” here means to buy up, to pay the ransom for, to rescue from loss, and to improve the opportunity. What does this mean? It means that Jesus died on the cross so you could receive the blessing God has promised to Abraham. Jesus died on the cross for you so that you could be free from the curse of the law of debt, poverty, and lack. In return, He would give you the power to succeed in every area of your life, no matter who you are, what background you came from, or what ability you might not have. It is He who empowers you through His Holy Spirit to be blessed so you can be a blessing to the families and nations of the world, as God promised Abraham.

But you might say, How can God want me to be blessed while I am facing bills, sickness, and lack right now? The truth is that the enemy wants you to believe that you are still under the curse. He wants you to believe that you are cursed to be poor and never amount to anything in your life. It is time you shut up his lies by receiving the truth of God’s blessing in your life. It all starts with acknowledging what Christ has already done for you at the cross. Jesus paid the price for your sins, your healing, your debts, and all other curses that this world or the devil has to offer. He overpaid it all with Himself! So today, believe and receive God’s blessing in Christ and live the blessing for all to see.
