My Declaration of Faith:

Some days my emotions are all over the place, hopeful one minute, discouraged the next. I’m learning not to let my feelings dictate my foundation. Emotions are real, but they’re not always reliable. They shift, they change, they react. But my God? He is steady. His truth doesn’t change with my mood or my circumstances.

That’s why I choose to build my life on something stronger than emotions. I stand on Christ, my solid rock. Like Paul, I can say, “None of these things move me” (Acts 20:24). People may disappoint me. Plans might fall through. But I don’t have to let those things rob me of my peace or joy.

When I feel anxious, I remind myself of this truth: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea” (Psalm 46:1–2). No matter what shakes around me, I will not be shaken, because Christ holds me steady.

So today, I release the stress, the frustration, the emotional rollercoaster over to the Lord. I may feel upset, but I don’t have to live upset. I may feel discouraged, but I don’t have to stay there. I choose peace. I choose faith. I choose to live from a deeper place that is anchored in God’s unchanging love and promises.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for being my unshakable foundation. Even when my emotions rise and fall, You remain the same. Help me to shut the door on negativity and hold tightly to what You’ve spoken over my life. I declare today that I am unmoved by what I see or feel. My hope is in You alone, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
