My Declaration of Faith:

Today, I anchor my heart in this truth: I have God’s Word for it, and that’s more than enough. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He didn’t argue or reason with the enemy. He declared, “It is written.” (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10) That’s my example. I don’t have to come up with clever answers or rely on how I feel. I just need to speak the Word, because the Word carries power.

So when the enemy tries to remind me of pain in my body, I don’t deny what I feel, but I declare what I believe. “It is written: By His stripes I am healed.” (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24) I’m not waiting for healing to happen; Jesus already paid for it. My body may not feel aligned yet, but God’s Word is the final authority, and it will not return void.

If fear creeps in or tries to paralyze me with worst-case scenarios, I don’t try to reason it away. Instead, I speak truth into the fear: “It is written: God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

I might need to say it again and again, but every time I do, I’m drawing a line in the sand: fear has no place here. And if my finances seem uncertain and doubt starts to whisper, “You don’t have enough,” I remind myself of what’s true: “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19). The amount in my account doesn’t define my provision, my Father does. As the need arises, so will His supply.

Every lie, every worry, every attack, I counter it with God’s Word. Because I’m not fighting alone. I’m standing with the One who already overcame.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for giving me Your Word that is strong, faithful, and unchanging. Today, I choose to lean on it, speak it, and live by it. When challenges arise, let my first response be, “It is written.” Strengthen my heart to trust in what You’ve said more than what I see. Jesus, You are the Living Word, and with You, I have all I need. Amen.
