God is Out to Bless You
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make
his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26
When disasters strike—earthquakes, tornadoes, pandemics—or when we experience the loss of a loved one, some people believe God is behind it. They think He causes suffering to punish people. But this is one of the biggest lies Satan wants people to believe. Jesus warned us about Satan’s true nature when He said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Satan wants to shift the blame onto God, but God’s heart is the complete opposite of destruction.
God is the Creator of all life. He loves His creation deeply. John 3:16 tells us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God’s intention has always been to love, protect, and bless. Even when sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s rebellion, God immediately set a plan in motion to rescue humanity—a plan that involved sending Jesus, His only Beloved Son, to save us.
Jesus willingly went to the cross. He had never sinned, but He took on the punishment for all sin because of His overwhelming love for us. As He hung on the cross, He prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). Even in His suffering, Jesus showed mercy and grace. And when He rose from the dead, it wasn’t to bring wrath or vengeance. It was to offer redemption and salvation to anyone who would place their trust in Him.
Because of what Jesus accomplished, God is not out to condemn you—He’s out to bless you. In your sickness, He’s ready to bring healing. In your suffering, He’s ready to rescue you. In your darkest moments, He’s ready to flood your life with light, love, and hope. In your failures, He’s ready to lead you toward success. Every time you call on the name of Jesus, God responds with mercy, grace, and love. He’s ready to cover you, protect you, and bring peace into your heart. Open your heart today and experience His goodness. You are deeply loved by a God who is always for you and out to bless you.
