Embrace in His Intimate Love

My Declaration of Faith:

Sometimes I find myself wondering if I’m truly enough, if I’ve done enough, obeyed enough, or measured up enough for God to really love me. At times, I’ve carried the weight of condemnation, feeling like I could never quite reach His standard. And if love from an earthly father was absent or painful, it can make it even harder to picture God as a tender, caring Father.

But the truth is, God doesn’t withhold His love from me. He calls me His child and welcomes me close. “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:18) His love isn’t based on my perfection; it flows from His heart of grace.

When I rest in His embrace, fear loses its grip. Condemnation gives way to freedom. I remember that “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). His love heals the wounds of the past, restores what was broken, and empowers me to forgive myself and walk with compassion, even in my shortcomings. Today, I choose to live not striving for God’s love, but resting in it, safe, secure, and fully embraced.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for wrapping me in Your intimate love. Heal the places in me where I’ve felt unworthy or unloved, and help me to see myself the way You see me as Your precious child. Let Your love silence every lie of condemnation and bring peace to my heart. I receive Your embrace today, and I rest in the freedom and healing that comes only from You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
