I Am Made Whole in Christ
My Declaration of Faith:
Some days, symptoms speak loudly. A doctor’s report can feel heavy. The pain, the fatigue, the worry, they try to tell me who I am. But today, I choose to listen to a greater voice: the voice of Truth.
God’s Word reminds me, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). So I asked myself, how do I see myself? Not based on how I feel, but on what God says. And the truth is, I am not the sick trying to get well. I am the healed, the whole, the redeemed child of the living God.
Scripture declares, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us” (Galatians 3:13, NIV). That includes sickness. That includes every diagnosis, every chronic issue, every emotional wound. Through Jesus’ finished work on the cross, I’ve been made completely whole—spirit, soul, and body.
So today, I declare with boldness:
I am healed. I am whole. I am strengthened. I am restored.
Not because of what I feel, but because of what Christ has done.
Not because I earned it, but because grace made it available.
Sickness is not my identity. Wholeness is.
I may face symptoms, but they don’t define me.
I may have a diagnosis, but it doesn’t own me.
Jesus has the final word, and that word is life, healing, and peace.
Prayer for Today:
Jesus, thank You for finishing the work. You didn’t just forgive my sin, but You carried my sickness and pain, too. Help me to see myself the way You see me: whole, healed, and deeply loved. On the days when symptoms shout, let Your truth speak louder. I receive Your healing, and I rest in Your promise today. In Your powerful name I pray, Amen.
