My Declaration of Faith:

There are moments when life feels like a battle, when lies try to creep in, when old habits knock at the door, or when fear whispers that I’m powerless. But today, I remember who I am and whose I am. I don’t fight for victory; I stand in the victory Jesus already won for me.

The Bible tells me, “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” (1 John 3:8). That means every stronghold, every dark force, every lie that tries to rise up against me has already been defeated at the cross. I don’t have to bow to fear, temptation, or defeat—I have authority in Jesus’ name.

Scripture says, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4). I don’t just manage my struggles; I overcome them, not in my own strength, but through the power of Christ in me.

So today, I speak this over my life:

In Jesus’ name, I walk in His authority. I don’t bow to fear; I rise in faith. I don’t manage strongholds; I tear them down. Every thought, every voice, and every emotion that opposes the truth of God is silenced now and is brought into submission to the blood of Jesus. God, YOU are my Truth! In Jesus’ name, amen. My mind is clear. My heart is steady. My spirit is strong.

Darkness has no place in my life, my home, or my future. I walk in victory. I speak with boldness. I live in freedom. Jesus did the work, and I walk in the power of it.

Prayer for Today:

Jesus, thank You for destroying the works of the enemy. Today, I step into the authority You’ve given me, not timidly, but with confidence. Help me recognize anything that’s trying to rise above Your truth in my life, and give me the courage to bring it under Your name. I receive the freedom You paid for, and I choose to walk boldly in it today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
