My Declaration of Faith:
I declare today that I am never empty-handed. I carry the presence of God within me, and that makes me a blessing everywhere I go. Even when I don’t have money to give, the perfect advice to share, or the resources to meet someone’s need, I always have something, because I have Jesus

The world seeks pleasure in many different ways. According to Martin Seligman’s work on positive psychology, two pleasures appear in various places, including bodily pleasure and higher pleasure. Bodily or sensory pleasures include eating, playing physical games, intercourse, stroking (or being stroked), observing beauty, experiencing pleasant smells, and hearing good music.

There will be times when people will mistreat you. People who you think are your friends may reject you. Family members may even look down on you or take advantage of you. You don’t have to allow their negative sentiment against you to take away who you already are.
