I Corinthians 3:21

There will be times when people will mistreat you. People who you think are your friends may reject you. Family members may even look down on you or take advantage of you. You don’t have to allow their negative sentiment against you to take away who you already are. You are who God says you are, and you need to own who you already are. Regardless of what other people may say or downplay about you, it does not change the truth about you.

The moment you surrendered your life to Jesus, your life has forever been ransomed by the precious blood of the Son of God, who gave His life willingly for you. The price Jesus paid for you through His own life has given a new meaning to how invaluable you are as a person. More than that, you are now sons and daughters of the Most High God, the creator of the universe. The eternal God who upholds every single atom that ever existed in creation by the power of His word is your Abba Father! That is why the word of God says that “All things are yours!” All things mean all things.

Through the blood of Jesus, God has made what is impossible for men to receive to be granted freely as a gift- that is, the eternal salvation of your soul. God made it possible through Christ’s resurrection from the dead to give you favor, blessing, and glory in this life and the next. That is exactly what the word of God says, “Whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come — all are yours, and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.” (1 Corinthians 3:22-23) This means your life is forever identified in Christ. Since Christ is the head and not the tail, you are the head and not the tail. Since Christ is given all authority in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, you are given the same authority to trample serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19) Since Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, you are seated with Him in the heavenly places. Your eternal status with Christ is permanently sealed by the Holy Spirit residing inside of you. As Christ is now, so are you in the world to live out His blessed life on earth. His abundant life of health, wealth, and soul prosperity belongs to you right now! You are king and priest before the Lord and the anointed one of God. Today, begin to own who you already are in Christ and be more than a conqueror because that is exactly who you already are!
