“Through the tender mercy of our God,

To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,

To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Luke 1:78-79

You were never created to live in the dark. When God created Adam, he was brought to life in the light of God’s glory. It was this light that gave him life and a blessed life in the Garden of Eden. Adam was so accustomed to the light of God that the light covered his physical body with the glory of God. But when Adam sinned against God, the light was removed from him, and man has been living in the shadow of darkness from generation to generation.
