“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that

the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

2Corinthians 4:7

Do you know that God has deposited in you the very treasures of heaven? Do you know that there is a spirit of excellence placed inside of you? You may comment to yourself, “I don’t feel like I have anything today. My life is a shambles, and I have nothing to feel good about.” The word treasure here means a storehouse of good and precious things. This means that God has placed inside of your very core being the very supernatural resources of heaven, which you can tap into anytime! But to get these things to manifest physically in your life, you need to use a special key. That key is called faith!  The scripture said that without faith or the key, it is impossible to please God or receive anything from Him. So it is obvious that if it takes faith to get these heavenly treasures from the spiritual into the natural, then using your faith is the wisest way to go. Why is that? Because faith is the key that unlocks the excellency of His power into our lives.

The kind of power we are talking about here is the power that brought about the very existence of the world and all its natural resources into being in the first place. Since the beginning, God has created all things good in His eyes. It was the devil that came and defected it all through the fall of Adam. He caused all that was meant for the good purpose of God to mean for his destructive purpose for mankind. The devil thought that by crucifying Jesus on the cross, he had finally everything to control of the destiny of humankind and dominated the world, but he was gravely wrong. When Jesus Christ arose from the dead on the third day, He restored the authority and ownership that Adam had lost to the devil back to us. That includes the very power that can restore all that was lost and distorted by the enemy.

You might think then, how do I unleash this power into my life? The same way as God did when He created all things. He spoke them into existence. Since you are created in His image, your words go a long way! So when you confess His words in faith, you are releasing the very treasure that was already stored inside of you through the new birth. But what if it doesn’t happen? Then, wait and keep confessing the words of faith until it does, and give no room for doubt, which is darkness, to abide. Remember that the very first thing God spoke into existence was light. This is because light represents what is already inside of Him. So if you speak forth what is already inside of you, birthed by the Word of God, that word carries the power to manifest that substance into the physical world. So let the light of God manifest inside of your heart, and you will see that the words you speak will unleash the treasure of heaven that will change the lives of the people around you today!
