I Am Who I Am By the Grace of God
My Declaration of Faith:
This morning, I choose to remember that I am not defined by my faults, failures, or unfinished parts of my story. God’s grace shapes me daily. When the enemy tries to replay my mistakes, reminding me of the time I lost my temper, missed the mark, or stumbled into temptation, I won’t agree with his lies. Instead, I will stand on the truth that “By the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Corinthians 15:10).
Yes, I’m still a work in progress, but that’s the beauty of God’s plan: He’s transforming me from “glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). I don’t have to be perfect to praise Him today. I can thank Him for what He’s already done and trust Him for what He’s still doing. I have more right with me than wrong, and His hand is on my life.
So today, I walk in the confidence of His grace, celebrating who I am in Christ, not condemning myself for who I’m not yet. God’s not finished with me, and that means the best is still ahead.
Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You for Your unfailing grace that shapes and sustains me. Thank You that I can live free from condemnation because You are still at work in my life. I believe You will bring to completion every good thing You’ve started in me. I choose to rejoice in who You’ve made me and trust You with who I’m becoming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
