My Declaration of Faith:

God could have chosen anyone to tell His story, but He chose me. Not because I’m perfect or qualified in my own strength, but because I’ve been redeemed through Jesus Christ. He took my sin on Himself so that I could stand righteous before God. That is the greatest act of love the world has ever seen, and love like that demands to be shared.

Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14). I was made to shine, not for my own glory, but so people would see the One who lives in me. My life is meant to point others toward Jesus, the true Light.

That’s why I live differently. I work with excellence instead of excuses. I follow where the Holy Spirit leads, even if it’s uncomfortable. I pay attention to my words, my choices, and my actions, knowing they speak louder than I realize. When I respond to hurt with grace, when I meet anger with compassion, I’m giving people a glimpse of God’s mercy.

I remember what Jesus said: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16). My light isn’t mine; it’s His, reflected through me into a world desperate for hope.

So today, I choose to shine: to carry His love into every conversation, every space, and every moment. I live to make Him known.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for trusting me to carry Your light into the world. I know it’s not my strength, but Christ in me makes the difference. Help me to live with intention today, letting Your love, mercy, and truth shine through everything I do. May my life be a reflection of Your goodness, drawing people closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
