Faith Over FearDaily Declaration of Faith

Faith Over Fear

My Declaration of Faith:

Every day, voices are trying to plant seeds in my mind, telling me I’m not enough, I’m not qualified, or that things will never work out. Sometimes they come from people, sometimes from circumstances, and sometimes from my own thoughts. But I get to choose what takes root in my heart.

The Bible says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23). If a thought is full of fear, discouragement, or doubt, I don’t have to receive it. Those seeds only grow if I give them space.

I think about Jairus in Mark 5. He asked Jesus to come heal his dying daughter, but before they got there, messengers said it was too late; she had died. “Don’t bother the Teacher anymore,” they told him. But Jesus ignored their words and kept walking toward the miracle. That’s the example I follow. I acknowledge the challenge, but I don’t give the negative report power over my faith.

Scripture reminds me, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5). I may not see a natural solution, but I know God is working in ways I can’t see. I choose to believe His promises over my fears.

So today, I silence the voices of doubt. I reject the seeds of fear. I let faith take root and grow strong in me, because with God, nothing is impossible.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You that my faith is in You, not in what I see or hear. Help me guard my mind and heart from every thought that would weaken my trust in You. When fear tries to speak louder than faith, remind me of Your power and Your promises. I choose to walk by faith, to believe for the impossible, and to keep moving toward what You’ve called me to. In Jesus’ name, amen.
