All Things Work Together for My Good
My Declaration of Faith:
Some days, life makes it look like I’m losing: like the sickness, the setback, or the loss has the upper hand. But I’ve learned not to measure God’s faithfulness by my current situation. I don’t have to fight every disappointment or wrestle with every “why.” Instead, I can rest in the truth that my steps, even the unforeseen detours, are ordered by the Lord.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28). That means nothing—no betrayal, no delay, no closed door—has the power to cancel God’s plan for me. The ending has already been written, and God Himself holds the pen.
When I feel behind, outnumbered, or overpowered, I remind myself, it’s not over. The setback is only setting up my comeback. The pain will heal. What was lost can be restored. “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever.” (Psalm 138:8). I’m not just surviving this season; I’m walking toward the victory God has already prepared.
So, I choose peace over panic, trust over fear, and hope over despair. My story isn’t ending in defeat; it’s unfolding in God’s perfect timing.
Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You that I can rest in the unshakable truth that You are working all things together for my good. Thank You that my life is in Your hands, my steps are ordered, and my end is already secure in You. Help me to trust Your timing and see every challenge through the lens of Your promises. I believe that at just the right moment, You will bring restoration, breakthrough, and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
