My Declaration of Faith:

Some days, it’s easy to feel like I’m falling short, as I’ll never be good enough or do enough to really please God. But then I remember the truth: the law wasn’t given to make me holy; it was given to show me just how much I need a Savior.

“Where there is no law, there is no transgression.” (Romans 4:15) Without the law, I wouldn’t even recognize sin. God gave the law to make me aware of my need for grace, not to burden me with guilt, but to lead me to Jesus.

The enemy loves to use the law against me. He whispers lies: “You’re not good enough. How can you call yourself a Christian? Don’t even bother praying, God’s not listening to you.” But I know better now. I recognize the voice of the accuser (Revelation 12:10), and I don’t have to listen anymore.

Jesus already paid the price. “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 That’s not just a nice verse; that’s my identity. Because of Jesus, I am no longer condemned. I am clothed in His righteousness. Not because I earned it, but because He gave it to me as a gift.

So today, I say it out loud, until my heart believes it, until every lie breaks off:
I am the righteousness of God in Christ.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ!

I don’t stand on my performance; I stand on the finished work of Jesus. And when I know I’m right with God, there’s no fear, no shame, no stronghold that can keep me bound. His righteousness in me breaks every chain.

Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You that I am no longer under condemnation, guilt, or shame. Thank You for sending Jesus to be my righteousness. When I feel unworthy, remind me of who I am in Christ. Help me to walk boldly in the freedom You’ve given me. I don’t earn it, I receive it. I am forgiven. I am free. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
