“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

Psalm 103:2

Do you believe in coincidences or God incidents happening in your life? A coincidence is something that’s not planned or arranged but seems like it is. The world may put their faith in coincidences when good things happen to them, but as a child of God, you can rest your faith in Him who always has your best interests at heart. In the life of every reborn child of God, there is no such thing as coincidence, only God’s incidents. It is because your life is now under the guidance and planning of your Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and He is the one who causes all things to work together for good in your life, regardless of what you are dealing with right now. You may be going through a bad situation right now and have no solution to get out of it. I encourage you today to continue to stay in faith and keep on believing and putting your trust in Him who loves you and who lavishes you with all His benefits.

What are His benefits for you today, you might ask. Well in Psalm 103, God has graciously listed them out for you which includes the following: The Lord who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. As you continue to read the rest of the chapter, you will see God’s heart for you. He has gone ahead of you to cause God’s incidents to happen in your life.

I remember the time when I was out of work for a couple of years. Even though I went to various job interviews, I was not accepted into any positions I applied. I finally went to an interview for a marketing position and was offered the job. I was so happy to finally be able to work again and provide for my family. As I was walking out of the building, I received a phone call. It was from an old friend who works for a company I was terminated from a few years ago. He said that he is now the marketing manager for the company and is looking for an associate to be part of his team. He said that the marketing manager who had previously terminated my position at the same company had quit. He said he would reinstate me with the same salary I had before, which was far more than what I had received from my job interview. I gladly said yes. The rest is history, as God continued to prosper me within the company in such a short amount of time, with almost double the salary I received before. Praise God!

When you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you, you will always be at the right place at the right time to experience His blessings, favor, and goodness. In God’s world, there are no coincidences, only God’s incidents. In the end, He will always make sure you come out on top.
