My Declaration of Faith:

I’m not walking through life alone; I have a God who actually wants me to run to Him. He doesn’t roll His eyes when I cry out. He doesn’t push me away or grow tired of my fears or tears. No, He welcomes me. And not only does He listen, He also—guaranteed—promise that He will answer when I call. Not “maybe.” Not “if I behave perfectly.” But will.

Psalm 91:15 says, “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” That’s not just poetic encouragement—it’s God’s eternal commitment to me.

And I can trust that promise because of the cross. When Jesus cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46) He bore the weight of total abandonment so I would never have to. He was left alone, so I could be forever embraced. He was rejected, so I could be accepted. That’s not just a transaction; it’s love beyond measure.

So, when I’m anxious or afraid, when my heart is pounding with uncertainty, and my mind is spinning with “what ifs,” I don’t have to carry it all. I say, “Lord, this situation is too much for me, but not for You. I place it into Your nail-pierced hands.” And I leave it there.

When fear tries to return, I remind myself: it’s already in God’s hands. The enemy has no access to what I’ve surrendered to Christ. And if my God has promised to deliver and honor me, then I have no reason to panic—I have every reason to rest.

1 Peter 5:7 encourages me, “Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” And Philippians 4:6–7 reminds me that when I give my cares to God, His peace is not a temporary escape, but a supernatural peace that will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. So no matter what I’m facing today—be it fear, anxiety, pain, or uncertainty, I’m not alone. I am deeply loved, fully heard, and wonderfully held by a God who answers when I call.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for never turning away when I call on You. Even in my weakest, messiest moments, You are there, ready to listen, ready to rescue, ready to restore. I place every anxious thought and every heavy burden into Your hands today. Thank You, Jesus, for taking my place so I could always have access to the Father. I receive Your peace now; peace that steadies me, guards me, and reminds me that You are in control. I trust You to answer, to deliver, and to walk with me through it all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
