I Am a Blessing Waiting to Happen
My Declaration of Faith:
Today, I declare that I am not defined by what I have, but by Who I have, and I have the Lord Jesus Christ with me. That makes all the difference. Just like Joseph, who went from being a young slave with nothing to a man whose every task prospered, I believe God’s hand is on my life. “The LORD was with him, and the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand” (Genesis 39:3)
When God’s presence is manifest in me, my work, my relationships, and my everyday tasks carry His blessing. My family is blessed when I show up. Projects and assignments flourish when I touch them. Wherever I go, I bring the fragrance of His favor.
I’m reminded that Joseph couldn’t rely on his skills, his resources, or his connections because he had none. His only confidence was in God’s presence, and that was enough. That’s my confidence, too. For the Lord has promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). I carry His presence into every space I enter, and His glory shines through me.
So today, I walk knowing I am a blessing waiting to happen, not because of me, but because of Him in me.
Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You for Your presence that never leaves me. Just as You blessed Joseph’s hands, bless the work of my hands today. Let Your favor flow through me to bless others and let Your glory shine in all I do. I depend completely on You, Lord, for success and fruitfulness in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
