My Declaration of Faith:
Today, I declare that I am not defined by what I have, but by Who I have, and I have the Lord Jesus Christ with me. That makes all the difference. Just like Joseph, who went from being a young slave with nothing to a man whose every task prospered, I believe God’s hand is on my life. “The LORD was with him, and the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand” (Genesis 39:3)
My Declaration of Faith:
This morning, I choose to remember that I am not defined by my faults, failures, or unfinished parts of my story. God’s grace shapes me daily. When the enemy tries to replay my mistakes, reminding me of the time I lost my temper, missed the mark, or stumbled into temptation, I won’t agree with his lies. Instead, I will stand on the truth that “By the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Today, there are so many translations of the bible available to us when we read the word of God. Currently, the bible has been translated into 2,846 languages in 157 countries. This work impacts 1.11 billion people, or about 15 percent of all language users, who have (or will soon have) new access to at least some portions of Scripture in their first language. It is a miracle that so many people have access to the word of God.
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.”

What do you think people normally do if they get into a jam? They would immediately panic. They would fall into a trap of worrying about the situation and wondering how they would ever get out of it. This is the natural reaction of the flesh, and it doesn’t get you anywhere. The word of God even says that the flesh profits nothing, for it is the Spirit that quickens. You see, all the flesh could ever do in a time of crisis is to relate itself to past experiences to try to figure out a way to get out of that problem.
“He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
Luke 5:4
You may have reached a point in your life where you thought that you had already lived your best life. You may have failed to fulfill many of your life goals and dreams. A black swan event has stopped you from going any further. It could be that your business has shut down because of the pandemic. A physical injury has prevented you from accomplishing regular activities. A sickness has caused you to be bedridden and dependent on somebody else’s support to take care of you.
“But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’
For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”
Matthew 5:37
Do you know that every single word you speak can affect your life? If you don’t, you need to realize that it does. You may say Oh, you mean I can’t fool around with my words anymore? Not if you want the blessing of God to flow in your life constantly. You have to know that Satan is an extreme legalist when it comes to your words. He takes your words literally, especially your negative ones. He gladly wants you to speak all the garbage that other people in the world speak, so He can gain access into your life and cause serious havoc.
“For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face.
Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.”
I Corinthians 13:12
There will come a time when you can be misunderstood by the people around you. You may be someone who has good intentions to help someone else, but the person you are helping presumes that you have alternative motives. You could be going through a phase in your life when your own family or friends don’t even recognize you because you have changed your haircut, how you dress, how you act among your peers, and what you believe.
My Declaration of Faith:
Jesus, You are my safe place. In You, I have a peace the world can’t give and can’t take away, a peace that truly goes beyond my understanding. I’m not just living with the peace of God; I’m at peace with God because of what You’ve done for me.

Sometimes I catch myself scrambling to fix everything. I am overthinking, stressing, and trying to fight battles I was never meant to fight. But God doesn’t want me living in a constant state of anxiety or fear.
My Declaration of Faith:
Every day, voices are trying to plant seeds in my mind, telling me I’m not enough, I’m not qualified, or that things will never work out. Sometimes they come from people, sometimes from circumstances, and sometimes from my own thoughts. But I get to choose what takes root in my heart.
