“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;

old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

You may have considered yourself normal all your life. This is because you would think that you are a normal person who goes to a normal school. You may be a worker who goes to your normal job. You may be a mother who raises normal kids. You may be a father who thinks he is living a normal life. However, do you know that if you are born again in Jesus, you are not considered normal in God’s perspective of you? The meaning of normal is conforming to a standard, usual, average, typical state, or expected condition. The good news is that God did not save you and rebirth you into this newfound life in Jesus, so you could live a normal and average life dictated by the world’s standards. In Christ, God has birthed you into a new creation where old things have passed away, and, behold, all things have become new.

What does it mean to be a new creation? It means you have a new spiritual DNA of Jesus Christ living inside of you! Your old DNA from your biological father no longer lives inside of you. That means your health condition is not determined by your generational inheritance from your earthly mom and dad, but by the perfect health condition of Jesus, the Son of God. If the doctor said that since your family has past issues of heart disease, cancer, or Alzheimer’s, you will have a high probability to inherit the same type of disease as well, it is because the doctor only sees the information in front of them to give you a probable diagnosis of your health. What your doctor doesn’t know is that you are a new creature with a new feature. And that old sickly condition has passed away, and you have inherited the new health conditions of Christ, because by His stripes you are healed.

God has ordained all things to become new in your life. This means your health is new every day. Your finances are being made new every day, regardless of what your balance is. God is the replenisher and multiplier of your health, wealth, and life. He has imparted the supernatural DNA of His Son, Jesus Christ, into you with the infusion of resurrection power of the Holy Spirit living in you! You are not destined to live just a normal life, but you are a supernatural being who has been granted an abundant life of Jesus, ready to be manifested in your daily life! You are a walking miracle and a blessing to all God has placed in your life. The real you is destined to reign with Christ now on earth and unto eternity. This is what Jesus died for to give to you, and what He wants you to have is not a normal life, but an amazing one!
