I Am Forever Loved
My Declaration of Faith:
Some days, I used to wonder if God’s love for me changed depending on how I performed or whether I got it right or messed it all up. But the truth is, God’s love isn’t moody or conditional. He doesn’t love me more on my good days or less on my bad ones. His love is steady, unshakable, and unconditional.
The Bible reminds me, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1). That’s not just poetic, but it’s a powerful truth. I belong to Him. I’m His child. His love is never up for debate. His love for me is unconditional.
Jesus didn’t go to the cross because I had it all together. He went because I didn’t. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). That means I don’t have to earn God’s love or approval; I just need to receive it. He already chose me, accepted me, forgave me, and called me His own.
So today, I stand firm in that truth. I refuse to let past disappointments or current struggles convince me otherwise. I am not condemned, I am covered in grace. I am not striving; I’m standing on the solid foundation of Christ. I am forever loved.
Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You for loving me just as I am. Thank You that I don’t have to perform for Your approval because I already have it in Jesus. Help me to live freely and fully in that truth today. When shame tries to creep in, remind me of Your mercy. When I feel unworthy, remind me of the cross. Let Your love be the anchor of my heart and the fuel for my day. I receive Your acceptance, Your forgiveness, and Your approval. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
