The Lord of Hosts Handles My Opps
My Declaration of Faith:
Today I remind myself: I am not fighting alone. The battles I face: unfair treatment, the setbacks, the closed doors, even the people who may speak against me are not mine to carry. They belong to the Lord. Just like David, who was chased by Saul for no reason other than jealousy, I may feel surrounded at times, but I know where my help comes from.
David said, “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me. He will send help from heaven and rescue me” (Psalm 57:2–3). That same God who rescued David is with me today. And I hold onto His promise: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:14).
I believe heaven is moving on my behalf right now. God sends His angels, His strength, His favor, and His peace to surround me. What feels impossible to me is not impossible for Him. I can rest, because the outcome doesn’t depend on my power; it depends on Him who causes all things to work for good on my behalf.
Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You that I don’t have to fight my battles alone. Thank You for being my Defender, my Protector, my Way Maker, and my Provider. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are already working behind the scenes. Help me to stay in peace and trust that You are fighting for me. Today, I choose to rest in Your promises and walk in Your victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
