Tune In To God's VoiceDaily Devotionals

Tune In

“For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him?
Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.”
1Corinthians 2:11

Have you ever wondered what your future is going to be? Do you ever want to know what you are supposed to do while you are on this planet called Earth? Well, what if I tell you all your answers are right under your nose? That’s right. It is a breath away.

All mankind was created a triune being consisting of body, soul, and spirit. It is your spirit that knows who you truly are and what kind of person you are. This is the same thing with God. Only His Holy Spirit knows who God is and what is inside of His heart, mind, and soul. And everything that you need to know about your life from the beginning and end is in Jesus Christ because you were created in His image, and your spirit is directly linked to His spirit the moment you got saved.

So if you have 1001 questions that you need to ask God regarding your life, your purpose, your future, your health, your family, your children, your business, your ministry, etc., just tune into your spiritual frequency and listen quietly to His voice. But how would I know that God is speaking to me? I remember a preacher who once commented that for you to try to hear God’s voice, it is like trying to hear the sound of a chirping sparrow in the middle of Manhattan, New York, during rush hour. So, for you to tune in to His gentle whisper inside of your spirit, you need to tune off all other noises of life to hear Him.

What do I do if He starts speaking to me? Then you would talk to Him like you would to a friend. Remember that God is not only your friend, but He is also your Maker, Savior, and Father who deeply cares about you. Be assured that a word from Him will change the course of your life.
