My Declaration of Faith:

Today, I hold onto this truth: God’s goodness is not just behind me—it’s ahead of me, too. He’s not finished writing my story, and He has surprises prepared that I could never plan, predict, or earn. Just like Joseph, who went from the pit to the palace, God is able to turn seasons of pain into platforms of purpose.

Joseph’s own brothers betrayed him, but in time, they had to come back and stand before him, not knowing he was the one in charge of what they needed. And instead of revenge, Joseph extended kindness. He gave them food, forgiveness, and favor. Why? Because God had been good to him, and that same goodness flowed through him.

God knows how to turn what was meant for harm into a blessing. He can place me in rooms I never expected, with people I don’t even know yet, people who are assigned to open doors, show me favor, and help me rise. Not because I’m perfect or deserving, but because God is just that faithful.

As Psalm 31:19 says, “How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You…” That means God is storing up goodness with my name on it. Not just for someday far off—but even today.

And Isaiah 64:4 reminds me, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard… what God has prepared for those who love Him.” Blessings are coming that I didn’t even think to pray for. Unexpected kindness. Divine connections. Sudden turnarounds. And I don’t have to strive to make it happen. My job is to stay faithful, and God’s job is to surprise me with His grace.

So today, I stay hopeful. I stay expectant. I choose to walk through this day with open hands, knowing something good is on the way.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for the goodness You’ve prepared for me. Thank You for showing me favor in ways I don’t expect and often don’t deserve. You’ve surprised me before, and I believe You’ll do it again. I trust that You’re placing the right people in my path, opening doors I can’t see yet, and arranging blessings that will leave me in awe. Let me walk in humility and faith today, confident that You are always working behind the scenes for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
